I actually wrote a bad review on this product the first time around, but they have since fixed the problem and so far it has worked beautifully. I really like the fact too that it protects the screen on the back of the camera. If you have a DSLR camera it also keeps the screen from getting smudged when you have the camera next to your face looking through the view finder.

I've used this tripod a lot with my landscape photos, but plan on using it more for the bike rally night shots as well. Very durable, it's been to Alaska and Arkansas many times.
